The English word spirit (from Latin spiritus "breath") has many differing meanings and connotations, most of them relating to a non-corporeal substance contrasted with the material body. The spirit of a human being is thus the animating, sensitive or vital principle in that individual, similar to the soul taken to be the seat of the mental, intellectual and emotional powers. The notions of a person's "spirit" and "soul" often also overlap, as both contrast with body and both are imagined as surviving the bodily death in religion and occultism, and "spirit" can also have the sense of "ghost", i.e. manifestations of the spirit of a deceased person.
It was July 6, 2011. 8:45 in the evening , at our school C.R. The moment I had looked to a mirror, a mysterious voice of a lady was calling me .I'd really wonder who owns that very scary voice, the moment I'd realized that it was me and my friend alone in the C.R. no other person except the two of us.
The lady was calling me, saying"babae2x,naka violet2x ,taas buhok2x".
It was my very first scary moment in University of Mindanao Digos Cllege ever. In my 3rd year of not believing the stories of others that there a ghost in our school C.R., am I suppose to believe that is it true.?
